19 Now this is the basis for judgment: that the light has come into the world,+ but men* have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked.+

11 But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and is walking in the darkness,+ and he does not know where he is going,+ because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
