    • 7 Τί What οὖν therefore ἐροῦμεν; shall we say? ὁ The νόμος Law ἁμαρτία; sin? μὴ Not γένοιτο· may it occur; ἀλλὰ but τὴν the ἁμαρτίαν sin οὐκ not ἔγνων I knew εἰ if μὴ not διὰ through νόμου, Law, τήν the τε and γὰρ for ἐπιθυμίαν desire οὐκ not ᾔδειν I had known εἰ if μὴ not ὁ the νόμος Law ἔλεγεν was saying Οὐκ Not ἐπιθυμήσεις· you shall desire;
