‘Wunyamekele Lo Mdiliya’!

‘Ilizwe Lemidiliya’

Amaxesha amaninzi iBhayibhile ifanisa abantu bakaThixo nomdiliya—gama elo lifanelekileyo xa sibona indlela owawubaluleke ngayo umdiliya kwaSirayeli. KwiNdumiso yama-80, uAsafu wafanisa uhlanga lwakwaSirayeli nomdiliya otyalwe nguYehova kwaKanan. Umhlaba weli lizwe walungiswa kakuhle ukuze umdiliya kaSirayeli ukhule kakuhle womelele. Kodwa ekuhambeni kwexesha iindonga zokuwukhusela zawa. Olu hlanga lwalungasakholosanga ngoYehova yaye wayeka ukulukhusela. Iintlanga eziziintshaba zaqhubeka ziphanga ubutyebi bakwaSirayeli oku kwengulube yasendle ebhuqa isidiliya. UIsaya wafanisa ‘indlu kaSirayeli’ nesidiliya esasivelisa ngokuthe ngcembe “iidiliya zasendle,” okanye amaqunube abolileyo. (Isaya 5:2, 7) Iidiliya zasendle zincinane kakhulu kuneediliya ezityaliweyo yaye zineepete ezininzi. Esi siqhamo sibi sasingabangelwanga nguMlimi walo mdiliya. UYehova wayenze konke awayefanele akwenze ukuze olu hlanga luvelise isiqhamo. Wabuza wathi: “Yintoni na esenokwenziwa ngesidiliya sam endingekayenzi?”—Isaya 5:4.
Ekubeni umdiliya wakwaSirayeli ungazange uvelise siqhamo, uYehova wathi uza kulususa udonga olwalumkhusele. Wayengazukuwuthena lo mdiliya yaye wayengazukuwuhlakula. Iimvula zasentwasahlobo owawuxhomekeke kuzo ukuze isityalo sikhule zazingazukuna yaye isidiliya sasiza kuzala ameva nokhula.—Isaya 5:5, 6.
UMoses waprofeta wathi kwanezidiliya zokoqobo zakwaSirayeli zaziya kubuna. “Uya kutyala izidiliya uzisebenze, kodwa akuyi kusela wayini yaye akuyi kuvuna nto, ngokuba ziya kudliwa ngumbungu.” (Duteronomi 28:39) Umdiliya otyiwe ngumbungu unokubuna emva nje kweentsuku ezimbalwa.—Isaya 24:7.
‘Umdiliya Wenyaniso’
Kanye njengokuba uYehova wafanisa uSirayeli wemvelo nomdiliya, uYesu wasebenzisa isikweko esifanayo. Ngenjikalanga yokugqibela uYesu awayichitha nabafundi bakhe, wathi kubo: “Mna ndingumdiliya wenyaniso, yaye uBawo ngumlimi.” (Yohane 15:1) UYesu wafanisa abafundi bakhe namasebe omdiliya. Njengokuba amasebe omdiliya wokoqobo esomelezwa sisiqu somthi, nabafundi bakaKristu bamele bahlale bemanyene naye. UYesu wathi: “Ngaphandle kwam aninakwenza nto konke konke.” (Yohane 15:5) Abalimi batyala umdiliya ukuze bafumane isiqhamo, noYehova ulindele ukuba abantu bakhe bavelise isiqhamo somoya. Xa bevelisa eso siqhamo, njengoMlimi womdiliya, uThixo ufumana ulwaneliseko nozuko.—Yohane 15:8.
Ukuchuma komdiliya wokoqobo kuxhomekeke ekuwuhlakuleni nasekuwutheneni, noYesu uyathetha ngaloo nkqubo. Umlimi womdiliya usenokuwuthena kabini ngonyaka ukuze afumane isivuno esihle. Ebusika, amasebe amaninzi omdiliya asenokususwa. Umlimi ususa inkoliso yamasebe amadala. Mhlawumbi ushiya amasebe nje amathathu okanye amane, ngalinye lala masebe liba nehlumelo elinye okanye amabini. La mahlumelo afanayo nalawo ebekho kunyaka ophelileyo, ngawo aya kuthwala isiqhamo kunyaka olandelayo. Xa egqiba ukuthena umdiliya, umlimi uyawatshisa loo masebe agqiba kuwagawula.
Echaza oku kuthena uYesu wathi: “Nabani na ongahlali emanyene nam, ulahlelwa phandle njengesebe ibe uyoma; yaye abantu bayawahlanganisa loo masebe baze bawaphose emlilweni atshe.” (Yohane 15:6) Nangona ngeli xesha umdiliya ubonakala ungenamasebe, uyathenwa kwakhona entwasahlobo.
“Onke amasebe akum angathwali siqhamo uyawasusa,” watsho njalo uYesu. (Yohane 15:2) Oku kusenokuba kubhekisela ekutheneni okwenziwa kamva, xa umdiliya sele uqalisile ukukhula nezihloko zeediliya sele zibonakala. Umlimi uhlola isebe ngalinye ukuze abone athwele isiqhamo nalawo angasithwalanga. Ukuba loo masebe angenasiqhamo akagawulwanga, anokukwazi ukufunxa izondlo namanzi emthini. Ngenxa yoko, umlimi uyawasusa la masebe ukuze izondlo ziye kuloo masebe avelisa isiqhamo kuphela.
Ekugqibeleni, uYesu uthetha ngomsebenzi wokucoca. Uthi: “Onke lawo athwala isiqhamo uyawathena, ukuze athwale isiqhamo esingakumbi.” (Yohane 15:2) Emva kokuba amasebe angathwalanga siqhamo esusiwe, umlimi weediliya uhlola sebe ngalinye elithwele isiqhamo. Kwisebe elinesiqhamo usoloko efumana amahlumelo amancinane afanele kukushenxiswa. Ukuba aye ayekwa akhula, aya kufunxa amanzi emdiliyeni, manzi lawo ebenokuba luncedo kwiidiliya. Amanye amasebe amakhulu anokususwa ukuze iidiliya ezikhulayo zifumane ilanga. Konke oku kuluncedo ukuze amasebe athwele isiqhamo akwazi ukuvelisa isiqhamo esininzi.
‘Qhubekani Nithwala Isiqhamo Esininzi’
Amasebe okomfuziselo ‘omdiliya wenyaniso’ afanekisela amaKristu athanjisiweyo. Kanti, “nezinye izimvu” zimele zizingqine zingabafundi bakaKristu abathwala isiqhamo. (Yohane 10:16) Nazo zinokuthwala “isiqhamo esininzi” zize zizukise uYise osemazulwini. (Yohane 15:5, 8) Umzekeliso kaYesu womdiliya wenyaniso usikhumbuza ukuba usindiso luxhomekeke ekuhlaleni kwethu simanyene noKristu ukuze sivelise isiqhamo esihle sokomoya. UYesu wathi: “Ukuba niyayigcina imiyalelo yam, niya kuhlala eluthandweni lwam, kanye njengoko nam ndiyigcinile imiyalelo kaBawo ndaza ndahlala eluthandweni lwakhe.”—Yohane 15:10.
Ngemihla kaZekariya, uThixo wathembisa intsalela ethembekileyo yamaSirayeli ukuba ilizwe lawo liya kuphinda livelise “imbewu yoxolo; umdiliya uya kunika isiqhamo sawo, nomhlaba uya kunika imveliso yawo.” (Zekariya 8:12) Umdiliya uphinda usetyenziswe xa kuchazwa uxolo oluya kunanditshwa ngabantu bakaThixo ebudeni boLawulo LukaKristu Lweminyaka Eliwaka. UMika waprofeta wathi: “Baya kuhlala, ngamnye phantsi komdiliya wakhe naphantsi komkhiwane wakhe, yaye akuyi kubakho bani ubangcangcazelisayo; kuba wona kanye umlomo kaYehova wemikhosi ukuthethile oko.”—Mika 4:4.
