Ikhambi Lazo Zonke Izifo—Lingatholakala!
KUYO YONKE iminyaka, bekulokhu kwenziwa imizamo yokuthola ikhambi lazo zonke izifo. Minyaka yonke, izigidigidi zamarandi zichithelwa emisebenzini yezempilo. Abanye abanamathalenta amakhulu ezweni, besebenzisa isayensi yezemisebenzi ethuthuke kakhulu, bamatasa nokucwaninga kwezokwelapha. Nokho abantu kuwo wonke umhlaba basagula, nezifo eziwumshaya-bhuqe zisaqhubeka zikhona. Isimo sethu asizange sishintshe kangako kulokho uMose akhuluma ngakho kusukela osukwini lwakho. Eminyakeni engaphezu kwezi-3 000 edlule wabhala: “Izinsuku zeminyaka yethu zineminyaka engamashumi ayisikhombisa; kuthi uma ziziningi, zineminyaka engamashumi ayisishiyagalombili; nokho ukuvama kwazo kungukuhlupheka nelize.”—IHubo 90:10.
Isiqalo Esinempilo
Nokho isintu sasinesiqalo esiphelele. UAdamu noEva babehlala endaweni ehlanzekile, engenazifo, ensimini enhle yase-Edene. Banikezwa ukudla okuningi okunempilo, nokwakhayo. Babenomsebenzi othandekayo, nozuzisayo. Futhi babephile kahle emzimbeni nasengqondweni.—Bheka uGenesise 1:26-30.
UNkulunkulu wabatshela futhi indlela yokulondoloza isimo sabo esiphelele. Okokuqala wabatshela lokho okumelwe bakwenze: “Zalani, nande, nigcwalise umhlaba, niwunqobe.” Khona-ke wabatshela lokho okwakungamelwe bakwenze: “Kepha ungadli kuwo umuthi wokwazi okuhle nokubi, ngokuba mhla udla kuwo uyakufa nokufa.” (Genesise 1:28; 2:17) Uma futhi kamuva nenzalo yabo, babeyolalela lemiyalo emibili eyisisekelo, babeyokwazi ukulondoloza isimo sabo sempilo, esijabulisayo, nesiphelele kuze kube phakade.
Abantu abaningi namuhla banomuzwa wokuthi indaba ka-Adamu noEva ayiyona engokoqobo, imane nje iyinganekwane. Kodwa kunokumane singazinaki nje lezinto kalula, ake sizihlolisise.
Ngamazwi esiwajwayele namuhla, umyalo wokuqala wabatshela ukuthi kufanele banakekele isimo sendawo yabo. Owesibili wabatshela ukuthi kumelwe bagcine indlela yabo yokuphila iphakathi kwemingcele ethile emiswe uNkulunkulu. Ingabe lona uyinganekwane engenangqondo ngokwesayensi, noma ingabe ugcizelela isisekelo esinengqondo sokuphila okunempilo? Phawula lokho incwadi iHealth and Disease kaRene Dubos noMaya Pines ekushoyo ngalendaba: “Enye yezimbangela zesifo ezingaqapheleki indawo. Indawo umuntu aphila kuyo nendlela aphila ngayo ingaba nethonya elikhulu empilweni yakhe—ngokuvamile ngezindlela ezingaqapheleki—ngaphezu kwamagciwane ahlangabezana nawo noma izici zofuzo azizuzayo.”
Siyini Isifo?
Kulendaba, isifo sihlobene kakhulu nendlela esiphila ngayo nendlela esiphatha ngayo isimo sethu sendawo. Namuhla sinomuzwa wokuthi indlela yethu yokuphila ephucuzekile iye yasiza kakhulu ekuthuthukiseni isimo esivamile sempilo. Kodwa phawula lokho uDubos noPines, abakushoyo: “Abomdabu baseAustralia, abahlala ezindaweni eziqhelelene ngokwendlela yakudala, bakhululeke ngokuphawulekayo ezifweni. Empeleni, kusemiphakathini ethuthuke kakhulu kuphela lapho umuntu ophucukile, ngenxa yesayensi yanamuhla yezokwelapha, eqala ukuntula impilo enhle leyo abantu abangaphucuzekile kakhulu ezweni abayijabulela njengefa.”
Abanye balabantu “abangaphucuzekile kakhulu” abacashunwe abalobi, amaMabaan aseSudan. “AmaMabaan ajabulela isikhathi eside sokuphila esasingaphawuleka emiphakathini ethuthuke kakhulu kwezokwelapha. Ngokungaphezulu, iminyaka yabo yokuguga cishe ikhululekile ezifweni ezivamile eziwohlozayo zokuguga. Ososayensi basashaqekile ngempilo engavamile yamaMabaans, kodwa isimo sabo sendawo esingashintshashintshi, esinokuthula cishe ngokuqinisekile siyisici esisemqoka.” Ukuze bagcizelele ithonya lesimo sendawo, abalobi banezela: “Lapho umMabaan ethutha ekhaya eya edolobheni laseKhartoum, eliqhele ngamakhilomitha ayi-1 050, ukhathazwa izifo eziningi aziqabukayo.”
Ngokuphambene, indlela yethu yokuphila “ephucuzekile” iye yaletha ukungcola komoya namanzi, ukuphela kwamahlathi, ukuchichima kwenani labantu nendlala ezingxenyeni eziningi zabantu. Ngakho-ke, akumangalisi ukuthi isifo ngezinye izikhathi siye sachazwa “njengomphumela wendlela yokuphila ephucuzekile.” Sizicabangela njengabaphucuzekile ngoba asisahlali ehlane. Kunalokho, singahlala emadolobheni sisondelene, uma kungesikho ukuhlala phezu komunye ngokoqobo. Empeleni, igama elithi ‘ukuphucuzeka’ livela kwelesiLatini elisho isakhamuzi noma ohlala edolobheni. Kodwa umqondo wokuhlala edolobheni wavelaphi?

Ngisho nanamuhla, izifo eziningi ezikhathaza labo abasemazweni acebile ziwumphumela wendlela yabo yokuphila.
Ukufuna Impilo
Iziphathi-mandla ziye zaqaphela ukuthi izinkinga zesintu zempilo azixazululiwe ngokuba nje nemithi eyengeziwe, odokotela abengeziwe, noma izibhedlela ezengeziwe, ngisho nakuba lokhu ngokungangabazeki kuyonikeza intuthuko yesikhashana. Kunalokho, kufuneka izinguquko zangempela endleleni abantu abaphila ngayo nangendlela abaphatha ngayo isimo sendawo. Bangabambeka ezimisweni ezamukelekayo zezempilo ngaphakathi nangaphandle kwamakhaya abo, ezimakethe nasezitolo, ezikoleni, emafektri, ezinkantini nasemathilomu. Bangafunda indlela yokushiyanisa ukuzalwa kwezingane abazifisayo ngendlela yokuba bakwazi ukuzinikeza zonke ithuba elihle lokukhula, imfundo efanelekile, nohlobo lokuphila okungcono.”
Ngokusobala, lezi izinyathelo zempilo enhle. Kodwa imibuzo esobala yilena: Abantu abampofu abasemazweni asathuthukayo bangakuthola kanjani ukudla okwanele, amanzi alondekile, kanye nezimiso ezamukelekayo zezempilo? Bangazitholaphi izimali namakhono adingekayo ukuze balungiselele lezinto ezibalulekile?
Ngokuthakazelisayo, isihloko kuWorld Health, umagazini osemthethweni weWHO, sithi: “Cabanga nje ukuthi bekungaba nezwe elihle kanjani ukuba konke ukuhlakanipha, imali abantu nomcebo njengamanje okuchithelwa ezikhalini zezempi bekusetshenziselwa ukuthuthukisa impilo yezwe!” Bekuyophumelaphi lokho? Nokho, lesosihloko salinganisela ukuthi umncintiswano wezikhali ubiza izwe ngalinye izinkulungwane ezingamakhulu ayi-12 ezigidi zamarandi ngonyaka, noma izigidi ezimbili zamarandi ngomzuzu, ukuze liqhubeke. Kuthiwani ngabantu basemazweni acebile? Bangase bame kahle kwezinye izimo, kodwa, ngokukaDr. Mahler, nabo ngokufanayo, “kumelwe basukumele imithwalo yemfanelo yempilo yabo, ukudla ngokuhlakanipha, ukuphuza ngokulinganisela, ukungabhemi, ukushayela ngokucophelela, ukuvivinya umzimba ngokwanele, ukufunda ukuphila ngaphansi kokucindezela kwempilo yasedolobheni, futhi basizane ukuba benze kanjalo.”
Kanjalo sifanele sizibuze: Ingabe izizwe zingavuma ukushintsha izinqubo zazo futhi ziphishekele impilo kuqala? Ingabe zingavuma ukulahla ukungezwani kwezombangazwe futhi zihlanganise amandla azo nemizamo ukuze zinqobe izifo? Futhi, ingabe abantu bangashintsha indlela abaphila ngayo ngenxa yaleyo enempilo ngokwengeziwe? Eqinisweni, kudingeka uvume ukuthi lokhu akunakwenzeka neze. Ikhambi lazo zonke izifo ngeke litholakale uma sizolibheka ezizweni.
Ikhambi Liseduze!
Khona-ke, singabheka kubani? Nokho, khumbula umbono owabonwa umphostoli uJohane osekhulile. Wawuchaza ngalendlela:
“Wayesengikhombisa umfula wamanzi okuphila ucwebezela njengekristalu, uvela esihlalweni sobukhosi sikaNkulunkulu neseWundlu. Phakathi kwesitaladi sawo nomfula emaceleni omabili kukhona umuthi wokuphila, uthela izithelo eziyishumi nambili, uthela izithelo zawo izinyanga ngezinyanga, namaqabunga omuthi angawokuphulukisa izizwe.”—IsAmbulo 22:1, 2.
“Umfula wamanzi okuphila” ongokomfanekiso ubonakala ugeleza uvela “esihlalweni sobukhosi sikaNkulunkulu neseWundlu.” Khona-ke ngokusobala, kumelwe sibheke kuJehova uNkulunkulu naseMbusweni wobuMesiya weNdodana yakhe ‘ngokuphulukiswa kwezizwe.’ Ingabe lokho kunengqondo? UNkulunkulu unguMdali womzimba womuntu nawo wonke umhlaba. Yena—ngaphezu kwanoma imuphi udokotela noma usosayensi—wazi indlela yokusingatha izimo kangcono ukuze kunqotshwe izifo. Ngaphansi kokubusa koMbuso kaNkulunkulu, isintu siyokhululwa ekungcoleni okubangela izifo nokufa okusikhathazayo manje. Sisekelwa futhi sondliwa ‘ngamanzi okuphila’ ahlanzekile, acwebile kanye nezithelo namaqabunga ‘omuthi wokuphila’—ilungiselelo eliphelele likaJehova lokuzuza ukuphila okuphakade—isintu siyophulukiswa phakade kuzo zonke izifo zaso, ezingokomoya nezingokwenyama.a Abantu bayobuyiselwa esimweni senjabulo, sempilo nokuphelela esajatshulelwa okhokho babo, uAdamu noEva, ekuqaleni.
Isikhathi ngoMbuso kaNkulunkulu ukuba uthathe isinyathelo ‘sokubhubhisa ababhubhisa umhlaba’ siseduze. (IsAmbulo 11:18) Khona-ke izici eziningi zesiprofetho seBhayibheli ziyoba ngokoqobo epharadesi elibuyiselwe. (Isaya 33:24; 35:5, 6) Lezi izindaba ezinhle ngabo bonke abafisela impilo enhle ngendlela kaNkulunkulu. Ngokushesha lapha kuzoba khona “umhlaba omusha” lowo uJohane awubona lapho ‘ukufa nokudabuka, nokukhala, nobuhlungu kungasayikuba-khona.’—IsAmbulo 21:1, 4.
