15 And I will put enmity*+ between you+ and the woman+ and between your offspring*+ and her offspring.*+ He will crush* your head,+ and you will strike* him in the heel.”+

7 Neither are they all children because they are Abraham’s offspring;+ rather, “What will be called your offspring will be through Isaac.”+

16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring.*+ It does not say, “and to your descendants,”* in the sense of many. Rather, it says, “and to your offspring,”* in the sense of one, who is Christ.+
