47 and they come to their senses in the land where they were carried off captive,+ and they return to you+ and beg you for favor in the land of their captors,+ saying, ‘We have sinned and done wrong; we have acted wickedly,’+

9 But if you return to me and observe my commandments and obey them, though your dispersed people should be at the end of the heavens, I will gather them+ from there and bring them to the place that I have chosen to have my name reside.’+

28 When he realizes and turns away from all the transgressions that he has committed, he will surely keep living. He will not die.
