25 “If you lend money to anyone poor* of my people, someone who is dwelling with you, you must not become like a moneylender* to him. You must not charge him interest.+

19 “You must not make your brother pay interest,+ whether interest on money, on food, or on anything on which interest may be charged.

Whoever does these things will never be shaken.*+

12 Within you they take a bribe to shed blood.+ You lend on interest+ or for a profit,* and you extort money from your neighbors.+ Yes, you have entirely forgotten me,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
