12 If you say, “But we did not know about this,”

Does not the One who examines hearts* discern it?+

6 And he will pay back to each one according to his works:+

10 For we must all appear* before the judgment seat of the Christ, so that each one may be repaid according to the things he has practiced while in the body, whether good or bad.+

7 Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap;+

14 Alexander the coppersmith did me a great deal of harm. Jehovah will repay him according to his deeds.+

12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life.+ The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds.+ 13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the Grave* gave up the dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.+

12 “‘Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to repay each one according to his work.+
