18 “‘You must not take vengeance+ nor hold a grudge against the sons of your people, and you must love your fellow man as yourself.+ I am Jehovah.

31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’+ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

27 In answer he said: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole strength and with your whole mind’+ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”+

14 But besides all these things, clothe yourselves with love,+ for it is a perfect bond of union.+

8 If, now, you carry out the royal* law according to the scripture, “You must love your neighbor as yourself,”+ you are doing quite well.

22 Now that you have purified yourselves* by your obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection+ as the result, love one another intensely from the heart.+
